1. Scope of Services
1.1. These terms apply to the redesign of a website on WordPress under the agreed project specifications and timeline.
1.2. The services include:
– Redesign and development of the website as per the agreed conditions.
– Documentation summarizing the final outcome and features implemented in the website.
– If requested, guidance on navigating and managing the website.
2. Project Deliverables
2.1. The website will be delivered fully functional, meeting the agreed-upon specifications and tested on the stated platforms.
2.2. Video tutorials, documentation or ongoing technical training will be provided if agreed upon in writing, for an additional cost.
3. Responsibilities During the project:
I am responsible for:
– Delivering a fully functional WordPress website with all agreed features and functionalities.
– Implementing basic on-page SEO, if requested.
– Installing and configuring necessary plugins (limited to free or client-provided licensed plugins) as agreed in the project budget.
– Testing the website to ensure it is stable and functional upon delivery
I will ensure the website is developed to meet the agreed specifications and will address any issues arising from my work during this phase.
3. Responsibilities after the project:
I am not responsible for:
– Issues caused by updates to WordPress, themes, or plugins after delivery.
– Changes made to the website by the client or third parties.
– Problems related to hosting, server configurations, or domain management.
– Backups and ongoing maintenance of the website
– Data loss or the absence of backups.
If requested, I can provide support for these issues at an hourly rate of €80, with fees and scope agreed upon in advance.
4. Revisions and Scope Changes
4.1. Revisions are an ongoing process during the development phase, involving feedback rounds between the web designer and the client.
4.2. Significant changes to the agreed design or scope, will be treated as out-of-scope work and may incur additional charges
– Such changes may include: introducing new features, revising major elements, or altering the structure.
4.3. Additional costs for out-of-scope requests will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding, based on the complexity of the changes.
5. Payments
5.1. A 50% deposit is required upfront to secure the project. Work will commence upon receipt of the deposit.
5.2. The remaining 50% is due upon completion and delivery of the website.
5.3. Late payments may incur additional fees as outlined in the invoice terms.
6. Warranty
6.1. A warranty period of 30 days is provided after the website’s delivery to address any bugs or issues directly resulting from my work.
7. Ownership and Intellectual Property
7.1. Ownership of the website and its content will transfer to the client upon full payment.
7.2. I retain the right to use the project in my portfolio or promotional materials unless otherwise agreed upon.
8. Termination
8.1. Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.
8.2. If terminated, the client will be billed for work completed up to the termination date, including any non-refundable costs incurred.
